7-Country Food Festival To Cap A Variety Of Events

Food stalls from seven of the French speaking territories around the world will cap the 2023 edition of the annual ‘Week of the Francophonie’ to be held at Alliance Française, Sector 36-A, from March 18 to 25. Jointly organized with the Canadian Consulate in the city, the festival will also feature screenings of short films and participative art works.

Within the limited capacity of Alliance Française, all the activities are open and free for all.

On the opening day on Saturday, there will be an interesting game of Petanque, a French game of boules (or balls) played by teams of two against two, often with 3 balls each and a ‘cochonnet, a small ball, in the parking of the French centre. It will be followed by an artistic activity and screening of the short films.
