Meet Punjab’s young designer Simran Dhillon, who recently launched his flagship store in Mohali’s emerging hotspot, the HLP Gallerria, Sector 62, where Starbucks, Looks Prive, Levis, Nykaa On Trend, McDonald’s etc. have already set up shop and dozens of other top brands are making a beeline to be there.
With a legacy of dressing celebrities from Pollywood and Bollywood, Simran Dhillon has created an enviable niche for himself as a leading designer. Showstoppers Master Saleem, Sara Gurpal, and Neeru Bajwa had added star power to the grand fashion show which marked the launch of Simran Dhillon flagship store at HLP Gallerria, showcasing his latest bridal and wedding collections which epitome luxury, sustainability, and modern design. Moving beyond traditional reds, the collection at the fashion show had embraced deep emeralds, rich blues, pastels, and jewel tones, accentuated by pearls, Swarovski crystals, mukaish work, and tissue fabrics.
Later the grandeur of Simran Dhillon was also witnessed in a unique fashion show in which models walked the rugged ground with gleaming and powerful horses as part of the 1st Punjab Equestrian Festival at The Ranch in Forest Hill Resort. It was a display of ‘Saddle & Silk’, where heritage rode in style.

Enter the Simran Dhillon design studio and you are immediately struck by the elegance and sophistication of its layout. The displays in various well-defined and spaced-out sections exude a sense of originality, and most regality too. The distinct and timeless Punjabi stamp is unmissable in even the most modern and contemporary designs.
In a segregated corner the young design team is immersed in the process of creating samples, fabric selection, outfit design, sketches and art prints to see how every piece looks and feels. The pinned-up designs, sketches and art prints give the space a cool artistic look.
There are four other sections, among which the men’s section stands out with luxurious pieces for all kinds of formal events – tuxedos, coats, shirts, pants, and more. The women’s section displays party wear with Indian and Indo-western styles.
The wedding section, Simran Dhillon design studio’s crown jewel, will bowl you over. On display are premium collections of hand-crafted lehngas and other outfits, custom couture for every ceremony, because each deserves a unique statement.
