A first of its kind 3-day International Conference on Integrative Medicine and Holistic Healing will be organised at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Mohali from September 20-22 to coincide with the International Day of Peace, which is observed on September 21 every year.
Put together by The Quantum Clinic in association with Holistic Healing Trust, Max Hospital Mohali and Xicome Mexico, the conference is unique since worldwide experts from various fields will participate for the first time in a “quest to expand and deepen our understanding and experience of our relation with nature and self, through the lens of science, medicine, holistic healing and spirituality.”
Well known oncologist Dr Sachin Gupta, who is a firm believer in the power of holistic healing and spirituality in conjunction with mode science and medicine as a means to achieve the goals of universal healthcare and wellness, shared with LifeInChandigarh.com that an array of therapists from around the world will be presenting their views and research on diverse subjects.
So, there will be biofield viewers, who capture the auric field and help in determining the problems in the energy field of an individual. Other experts will dwell on the power of hypnotherapy in releasing past traumas and transforming thoughts and emotions. Ozone therapy, acupuncture therapy, music therapy, sound therapy, ayurveda, homoeopathy, yoga and naturopathy will be among the other components of the conference.

There is a growing need for healers and practitioners to come together to integrate the healing modalities and treat patients as a whole and not in parts, and the conference is endeavouring to fulfil this dire need of the times,” Dr Sachin Gupta emphasised.
Among other reputed speakers, President of Amity Science, Technology and Innovation Foundation W. Selvamurthy, who is also Director General for Amity Directorate of Science and Innovation & Chair Professor for Life Sciences at Amity University, will speak on Integration of Science, Medicine and Spirituality. Thornton Streeter from England, Michelle D Button, Miktlan, Martin Achirica, Tahi Ricard from Mexico, Ana Maria Oliva from Spain, Dr Naval Verma, Blossom Furtado and NK Sharma from Delhi and Mili Shah and Prakriti Paddar from Mumbai are also among the key speakers.
